At the end of 2010, I moved from Brooklyn, NY to Lyon, France with my partner. It was a huge change, scary and exciting, but one that also gave me an opportunity to pursue a new career. My long obsession with vintage books and desire to create with my hands led me to study bookbinding. During my studies, I began to experiment with ways to repurpose old books, paper and illustrations to create new journals. I was instantly mesmerized with the wonderful ways I could preserve these beautiful old things while simultaneously giving them a new life, new use. I opened my shop Spellbinderie a year later, excited to share the magic. Here I practice the craft of binding the old with the new to create unique, spellbinding journals and guestbooks that are ready to hold dreams and keep memories.

The seller accepts payment via paypal.
Shipping Policy
My items are mostly made to order. Please note the processing time listed so you'll know when your item will ship. Don't hesitate to contact me for a rush order or expedited shipping upgrade if you have a pressing deadline.
Orders are shipped from France via La Poste.
International customers are responsible for duties and taxes levied on imports. Please check your country's rules if concerned.
I often re-use clean packing materials for shipping. Journals & guestbooks are shipped delightfully wrapped with vintage book paper.
Return Policy
Please note that custom made and personalized orders are not refundable.
For all other items, returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt.
►Items that qualify for a return must be unused and shipped back with tracking. Insurance is highly recommended in case your item is lost or damaged during transit. A replacement or refund will be given once the item is received in it's original condition. Shipping is not refundable.
► Custom/personalized orders are returnable only if an error was made by me. If an error was made, I will pay return shipping and fix and reship in a timely manner. Please note that to avoid errors, your order will be reviewed with you and a proof photo sent prior to your item shipping. Buyers are responsible for promptly approving spelling and wording.
► If an item arrives damaged due to postal transit please contact me to file a claim with the post office. Photographs of the item and packaging are required for the claim.
Order Policy
Seller doesn't accept wholesale inquiries. For custom orders, you will be given a date for fulfillment.
