This technique is perfect for getting the look of aged and weathered wood. It can be used on everything from jewelry and furniture to outdoor pots.
Step 1
Paint your accessories with a base color and let dry and then rub with wax. Don't cover the entire piece with wax, just here and there and along the edges.
Step 3
Sand your pieces to expose the paint underneath. Add more wax and more paint four more layers of color.
