Gather clear glass containers of different heights and a cornucopia of colorful and textured items, like crab apples, silvered almonds, almonds in the shell, pine cones, Christmas ornaments, white roses, and candles.
Fill each glass container with a different item, matching sizes. For instance, use shorter vases for small crab apples and votive candles and taller ones for nuts, flowers, and pillar candles.
Arrange the glass vases along the center of your table, staggering the heights and intermixing the candles with the other objects.
