Magazines DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss Glaze Americana Acrylic Paints Chain necklace Large wood beads Jump rings Embroidery floss Cotton cord White glue and Super Glue Paintbrush Needle nose pliers

FOR ALL 3 STYLES Cut the magazine pages into 2" wide strips Roll them at an angle to create long tubes Secure the end with white glue Wrap them around the tip of a pair of needle nose pliers *Add two or three tubes together to create larger disks

FOR THE LAYERED DISK NECKLACE Paint the disks white and let them dry Mix Triple Thick Gloss Glaze with a some Americana paint to create a faux glaze Glaze the white disks Add crazy glue to each end of a 36" piece of cotton cord Fold the cord in half and then tie a knot about 12" from the looped end Thread the ends of the cord through opposite sides of the 1st disk Continue threading the ends through opposite sides on about 9 disks Tie a knot at the edge of the final disk Add a small disk at one and end tie a loop at the other for a closure

FOR THE EMBROIDERY FLOSS NECKLACE Make about 20 disks in different sizes Paint them white and then glaze them with the tinted Triple Thick Gloss Glaze Thread a 1 yard piece of embroider floss through the center to create spokes Tie a knot when you're done and secure it with a dab of super glue Attach disks with jump rings to the chain

FOR THE LARGE MEDALION Make a very large disk with about 10 paper tubes Make one long bead by rolling a 3" long piece of paper into a tube Paint everything black and let dry Add the foil glue to the end of the tube bead and in a design on the medallion Add the gold leafing with the foil tape when the glue is completely dry Cut a 36" piece of black cotton cord Tie a slip knot around the center of the straw Thread both ends through the center of the disk Tie a knot between the disk and the tube on both sides Voila!
