Notes
The beanie is worked from the top down.
The flower is made separately and then sewn onto the
beanie.
The ch2 at the beginning of each round does not count
as a stitch.
When changing colors, you will carry the old yarn,
instead of fastening it off. That will allow you to simply
pick the yarn up later, with no ends to weave in.
To change colors, push the hook through the last stitch
of the first color, pull the yarn back through, yarn over
with the NEXT color, and pull through. Color change is
complete.

Hat
X-SMALL
Using Color A, ch4.
Round 1: 10dc in fourth chain from hook, sl st to first stitch to join round (10 sts).
Round 2: Ch2, (fpdc, dc) in each stitch, sl st to first stitch to join (20 sts).
Round 3: Ch2, * 2dc in next stitch, fpdc, repeat from * to complete round, sl st to first stitch to join (30 sts).
Round 4: Ch2, * 2dc in next stitch, dc, fpdc, repeat from * to complete round, sl st to first stitch to join (40 sts).
Rounds 5–9: Ch2, * dc3, fpdc, repeat from * to complete round, sl st to first stitch to join.
Rounds 10–11: Ch1, sc in each stitch, sl st to first stitch to join.
Round 12: Join Color B, drop Color A, ch1, sc in each stitch, sl st to first st to join.

Roll flower up; using yarn needle, sew together and onto hat. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
