Magic Marker Designer Bud Vase

This project from "Your Sharpie Style" transforms an ordinary bud vase into eye-catching design piece with this diamond pattern. Add a striking geometric pattern onto a vase and then make a gift box to match! Step 1

Cut a diamond shape from the cardstock to use as a template.

Step 2

Position the template on the bud vase and lightly draw around it with a pencil. Move the template to the next position, and again draw lightly around it. Continue doing so until the entire pattern is penciled onto the surface.

Step 3

Draw over the lines with the oil-based paint markers and fill in the shapes. Add an extra pop of color to the pattern by using a second color to outline and fill one or two of the diamond shapes. Allow to dry completely.
