Step 1
Supply List Two tall (3/4 x 36-inch) wood dowels Flat painting brush Acrylic paint (two contrasting colors) Distressing brush Scissors Burlap fabric Hot glue gun Paper flowers Felt alphabet letters (at least 3 inches tall) Lace trim
Step 2
Step One: Paint your wood dowels using the flat brush and one of the acrylic colors. With the contrasting acrylic color and your distressing brush, lightly antique the dowels.
Step 3
Step Two: Cut a piece of burlap fabric 28 inches wide by 20 inches tall. Along one of the long edges of the burlap add a thin line of hot glue. Glue one of the wood dowels into place. Add another thin line of hot glue onto the dowel. Roll the burlap over the dowel. Add another thin line of glue next to the crease of the burlap and roll one more time. Repeat these steps on the other long side of the sign with your remaining dowel.
Step 4
Step Three: Arrange your paper flowers in a swag design across the top of your sign. Place two paper flowers at the top of each dowel. Arrange your felt letters to spell out “Here Comes the Bride.” Once you are satisfied with the layout and everything looks nicely balanced, glue the pieces into place with your hot glue gun.
Step 5
Step Four: Measure the bottom of the sign and cut a piece of lace trim to fit. Glue it into place.
