Gauge:
 
- 12 dc = 4 in. (10 cm) over pattern with 1 strand each of A and B held tog.
 
When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

- Skip 10 sps from last st worked on Rnd 29. Join 1 strand each of A and B with sl st in next sp, ch 3 and work same as for first handle.
 
Do not fasten off. From wrong side, sc ends of handles tog. Do not fasten off.

Finishing:
 
With 1 strand each of A and B held tog, sc evenly around edge of handle. Fasten off. From right side, join 1 strand each of A and B held tog with sl st at opposite end of handle seam. Sc evenly around edge of handle. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
