For game day or an after-practice snack, make these "Chocolate Nutty Mini-Footballs."

INGREDIENTS
-3 tablespoons butter or margarine
-1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows - or - 4 cups miniature marshmallows
-1/2 cup peanut butter
-6 cups Cocoa Krispies cereal
-Canned frosting or decorating gel
Football Rice Krispie Treats
Step 1
In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until melted.
Step 2
Add KELLOGG’S COCOA KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.
Step 3
Cool slightly. Using buttered hands shape mixture into sixteen 3-inch footballs. Decorate with frosting. Best if served the same day.
Step 4
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Add peanut butter, stirring until melted. Follow steps 2 and 3 above. Microwave cooking times may vary.
Step 5
Variations: It’s easy and fun to make sport-inspired Treats for a winning after-play snack.
-Basketball: Cut out circles. Decorate with orange-colored frosting and black gel.
-Bowling: With cutters or stencils, cut out bowling balls and pins and decorate.
-Running: Use a stencil to cut out the shapes of running shoes. Add licorice laces.
-Tennis: Cut out round balls and frost in bright yellow. Use a cardboard stencil to cut racquets; frost them and use decorating gel to add the strings.
-Trophies: Look for trophy-shaped cutters or make stencils. Cover in gold frosting and use decorating gel to write on the names of team members. Everyone wins!
