While we can't write about every craft fair and marketplace happening across the country (or the world), we do like to highlight a handful of notable ones each week. If you'd like more people to know about your craft show or event, list it on our Craft Map and we'll gladly consider it for coverage. You can also email us at info@craftfoxes.com.

With tons of live music, oodles of fine artists and craftspeople, and lots of make-and-takes for kids, Trail West is the place to be this weekend for art enthusiasts near Saint Joseph, Missouri. History buffs will also be satiated at the festival, with historical reenactments from the time of Jesse James.

Three of my favorite things combined in one convenient location: art, books and food. Northwoods Art and Book Festival is a wonderful refuge of imagination and expression. There will be a large variety of vendors with many unique products of hand-painted clothing, rope baskets, unique designer jewelry, bent willow furniture, birch-bark baskets, handmade baskets, pen-and-ink wildlife art, cement benches and iron mosaic tables, along with driftwood and glass chimes and more.

Those craving a good Chicago hot dog will certainly be able to find it at the Northside Summerfest. The meaty franks are only part of the fun. Arts and craft vendors and other fun activities will also be lining the Chicago streets.
