"Hi-yo, Silver! Away!" Make a Lone Ranger sock craft stick horse for your little lawman or law-woman just in time for Disney's May 31st premiere of "The Lone Ranger." While not only a fun way to get excited about a new movie, this sock craft stick horse also offers a unique connection for grandchildren and grandparents. Since "The Lone Ranger" was an an exciting element of many of the older generation's childhood, the Lone Ranger stick horse is a throwback to something they love while the modernized movie will appeal to young kids.
The sock craft, designed by Angie of The Country Chic Cottage,
uses men's socks for the horse and faux leather trimmed with a bell for
a harness. Use white socks and yarn to imitate Silver, the Lone
Ranger's all-white horse, and complete the look with a DIY mask just like the one the Lone Ranger wears. We particularly like this mask made from an upcycled milk jug featured at this CraftFoxes' post.
