Great Glitter Cardstock Projects for Christmas, Weddings and Other Celebrations

Glitter card stock has numerous applications, but it particularly shines (pun intended) when there’s a celebration. The sparkly surface can be transformed into Christmas ornaments, birthday cards, welcome home banners, cake toppers, and plenty more. Christmas Ornaments

These stunning Christmas ornaments are best made by adult crafters since they require careful scissor cutting and a bit of hot gluing. Once you’ve turned the glitter cardstock into sparkling strips, you can glue them onto the ornament center and create dazzling twists.

Flower Vase or Centerpiece

This paper vase can be used as a centerpiece for a variety of celebrations. The white and red paper included in the video makes the finished project appear patriotic. Change the colors to all white for wedding reception or even orange and brown for Thanksgiving.

Birthday or Wedding Cake Topper

You’ll probably need a Circuit or Sizzix machine to complete the intricate cutting for a cake topper. If you have access to one of those (or are accomplished with an Xacto knife), you can add a professional finish to almost any dessert.
