Mine looked more like crochet and therefore was not included. It took me 20 years to try again and now I occasionally knit and crochet but I prefer to sew.

Liked your facebook page. This book looks great! I guess the first item I knitted was a long tailed stocking cap. Ribbing at the band, stockinette stitch to the tip, in stripes! Crochet was probably baby booties!

The first thing I crocheted was a scarf in my school colors. Even though it isn't perfectly made it still comes in handy on cold winter days!

I believe I crocheted a scarf as my first project. I quickly moved on to making little hooked flowers though. :)

I don't think I can remember the first thing I ever knit or crocheted. I do remember making a garland for the Christmas tree by making chain after chain after chain stitch. I think i used a whole skein of self striping red white and green acrylic yarn. :)
