Featured Member: RaeAnna Goss

This week we are featuring CraftFoxes member RaeAnna Goss, who blogs at Sewing Mama RaeAnna! As her blog title suggests, RaeAnna is a proud mama to two lovely kiddos. When her son was born, RaeAnna wanted to start using a sewing machine her mother had given her. From there, she started her blog and has been making crafts for her friends and family every since. Sewing Mama RaeAnna has plenty of cute crafting projects if you want to make some clothes for your kids. She has tutorials on her blog if you’d like to try out some of her crafts. We asked RaeAnna some questions about her blog, and here’s what she had to say:

I started my blog in January of 2012 after the birth of my daughter and my decision to be a stay-at-home mom! I began sewing when my son was born in 2009, and I love learning with each project I create.

I would have to say the matching cousin outfits I've made over the past 3 years.

My kids are my first inspiration!!! I love to browse vintage looks and seem to always be drawn to patterns that have a little vintage and southern charm to them.

Probably my bedroom re-do. Things weren't too difficult technically, but trying to juggle taking care of kids, teaching piano lessons and everyday life made it hard to finish the project in a short amount of time. But I did get it done in a week! 

Describe your personal style in 3 words:

Classic, Cute, Comfy

Teaching music (private piano lessons and starting this fall I will be my son's pre-school music teacher).

If you were to be cast on a reality TV show, which one would you choose and why? 

Tough one!!! I love reality shows! The easy answer would be "Fashion Star" or "Project Runway," but I've only sewn one adult sized pattern. I'm going to go with "The Amazing Race," since I followed the first 3 seasons religiously and applied to be on it with my hubby before we had kids. I love to travel and would have such a blast being on that show!
