This week we feature Caitlin Devlin, a blogger who writes at Lethargic Lass. Caitlin posts a lot about her family and about the quilting projects that she’s currently working on. In the photo above you can see one of Caitlin’s applique towels that she has been working on lately. Aside from her blog, Caitlin also has an Etsy shop, and she sells her sewing patterns at the Craftsy website. We asked Caitlin some questions and here’s what she had to say!
Can you tell us a little about your blog and when you started it?
I always said I wasn't going to have a blog as I spent too much time reading them to write one. Then one day I decided I wanted to have people enjoy my projects, and I wanted to have giveaways, so I decided to go for it! I'm not blogging every day, or even every week, but I do love doing it. I have been blogging for about a year and a half and have 105 posts (I just checked!)
What is one of your favorite projects you've ever made?
My favourite project would have to be my first quilt as I made it for my mom's 70th birthday. I had friends from all around the world write notes on blocks, and used them to make the back of the quilt.
Where do you find inspiration for your creative projects?
I find inspiration from other crafters. It doesn't have to be a quilty inspiration to become a quilt :)
Describe your personal style in 3 words.
Wee (small). Fun. Unique.
When I'm not crafting, I can be found...
Sleeping or at my day job!
