Quilting with triangles is an advanced sewing skill that makes for visually striking finished quilts and home decor. This quilt block pattern uses 6 different fabric colors to create an organized chaos of prints and patterns.

Step 1

Cutting Sizes for Fabric:
 
Yellow Sashings:
- 5 6-1/2" x 12-1/2"
 
Inner Vertical Borders:
- 2 2-1/2" x 60-1/2"
 
Inner Horizontal Borders:
- 2 2-1/2" x 52-1/2"
 
Middle Vertical Borders:
- 2 1-1/2" x 64-1/2"
 
Middle Horizontal Borders:
- 2 1-1/2" x 54-1/2"
 
Outer Borders:
- 4 6-1/2" x 66-1/2"
 
Binding:
- Red Enough 2-1/4" strips to equal 298" length

Step 2

Note: Yardages given assume borders are cut selvage to selvage from border fabric; binding
length equals measurement of all four sides plus extra inches for seaming
together.
 
Use the key shown in the photo to determine how much fabric the pattern needs for each color.
