It started with just 100 stickers in 2002, each one inscribed with the words "You Are Beautiful." Artist Matthew Hoffmann then placed the stickers around Chicago in the hopes of simply brightening someone's day. Years later, the You Are Beautiful movement has grown to building-wide murals, exhibits around the nation and over thousands of artists adding their own styling to those original words. Matthew has now curated the many resulting You Are Beautiful creations and will display them throughout February in the outdoor spaces of The Green Exchange, a sustainable building project in a Chicago neighborhood.
