The 1st Annual Craftys Awards Has Launched!

Musicians have the Grammys, actors have the Emmys, now crafters have The Craftys! The team at CraftFoxes has put together an exciting annual awards program to celebrate the best in craft across the nation.

All you awesome crafters and designers out there — go to TheCraftys.com to enter your best craft projects (no tutorials required). You have a chance to win $1000 in cash! 

Entering begins today and runs through May 26, 2014. If you don't want to enter your own work, you can nominate someone else to win. The entries will be judged on a variety of criteria, including originality and creative use of techniques and materials.  

There are ten craft categories to choose from, including sewing, knitting, scrapbooking and more. There are even categories for Best Craft Blogger, Best Young Crafter (under 18) and Best Curated DIY/Craft Pinterest Board. You can enter as many projects in as many categories as you want.

One finalist will be selected from each category, and then the "Best in Show" will be selected from the finalists to win $1000. Each of the remaining category finalists will win $200. Winners will be announced in early June.
