Guy gifts are tough. I am wracking my brain for ideas for my dad this Father's Day. Seriously, the older I get, the harder it is to find the perfect gift for one of the most important men in my life. When I think about making something for my father, I realize that there are some pretty good crafty Father's Day gift ideas out there, including these free Father's Day printables and unique gifts for dads. Here are four more unique or handmade gifts for guys.
Who knew that handmade ties could look so polished and charming? Sam Hober Custom-Made Neckties look so snazzy, and I could make it extra special by picking out a special fabric, like one featuring his favorite football team (Go Vikings!) or movie. One of the stereotypical guy gifts can still have special flair.
While he doesn't share my intense and abiding love of chocolate, my dad has a definite weakness for cheesecake. And I don't want to know the person who could resist this amazingly rich New York-style cheesecake from Smitten Kitchen. Edible guy gifts are hard to resist.
My dad just installed wood floors in his house, and in the mornings they can be cold, even in June. So my dad could use some slippers, but nothing too hot. These striped slippers from Action Hero would be a perfect guy gift.
The band on my dad's favorite watch (from previous Father's Day) has been broken for a while, so this fabric watchband by Crafts Keep Me Sane would be an ideal gift. Choose a sturdy fabric and omit the ruffles for a unique, handmade guy gift.
